June is a month of adjustment as a teacher and as a student. Before I started reading the articles for the Activity 2 (DF2), I've been through many activities in school and the last event was when the ICT E-learning Club facilitated the Journalism Workshop last Saturday. I've been catching the deadline and so now I am able to make this blog about my DF2. As I've read Module 2 and other sources about the Communication for Social Change and Development, I understood that communication has three models. Furthermore, I've learn the New and Old Modernization Theory of communication. After reading the two resources, I glanced again at he guide questions for Activity 2. Another source has to be read in order to fully answer all the questions, the C4D. I need to fight my drowsiness and keep the zeal in reading in order to catch the deadline. During my vacant period, I keep on reading all the sources until I was able to answer the questions for Activity 2.
What I like most in Module 2 is the transactional model of communication wherein the participant and the speaker is both part of the communication process.
i hope and i will try my best that someday I could reach out the people of the hinterlands in Negros to be literate in the modernization era without abandoning the culture while adapting the new development.
Thank you and God bless.
